How to Use :

For Soft, Nutritious Ragi Idiyappam:

  • Mix 1 cup of Karigai Ragi Idiyappam Flour with ¼ tsp of salt and ½ spoon coconut oil in a bowl.
  • Bring 1–2 cups of water to a rolling boil. Gradually pour the hot water into the flour, stirring continuously, until you reach the desired consistency. Avoid adding all the water at once.
  • Mix and knead into a smooth, soft dough (add a spoon of oil if needed).
  • Fill the dough into an Idiyappam press and press into thin strands over greased plates.
  • Steam for 5-7 minutes, cool slightly, and serve.
  • Also ideal for making puttu, kolukattai, or other traditional recipes. Can be added to dosa batter  and any recipe that uses plain rice flour.

Serving Ideas:

Enjoy with fresh coconut milk, grated coconut & jaggery, or vegetable stew.

Also perfect for ragi puttu, kolukattai, or other healthy traditional dishes.
