How to Use :

  • Cook toor dal until soft.
  •  In a separate pan, temper mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves, red chilies, and asafoetida in ghee or oil.
  • Add onions and sauté until golden.
  • Stir in tomatoes, mixed vegetables, Karigai Sambar Powder, tamarind extract, and water.
  • Simmer until vegetables are tender. Add the cooked dal, adjust salt, and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, idli, or dosa.
