How to Use :
For Soft, Nutritious Ragi Idiyappam:
- Mix 1 cup of Karigai Ragi Idiyappam Flour with ¼ tsp of salt and ½ spoon coconut oil in a bowl.
- Bring 1–2 cups of water to a rolling boil. Gradually pour the hot water into the flour, stirring continuously, until you reach the desired consistency. Avoid adding all the water at once.
- Mix and knead into a smooth, soft dough (add a spoon of oil if needed).
- Fill the dough into an Idiyappam press and press into thin strands over greased plates.
- Steam for 5-7 minutes, cool slightly, and serve.
- Also ideal for making puttu, kolukattai, or other traditional recipes. Can be added to dosa batter and any recipe that uses plain rice flour.

Enjoy with fresh coconut milk, grated coconut & jaggery, or vegetable stew.
